Can you give us an idea of whats going to be covered in "Winning High Stakes and Short Handed Hold ’em"?

Im hoping for groundbreaking work on playing out of the blinds. I think that is a huge part of winning at higher levels.

Default 2+2 on PLO high would be great

[ QUOTE ]
However I am not sure if this would happen but I would love for 2+2 to come out with more books on other poker games such as Pot limit Omaha, Decue to Seven, Triple Draw and mix games. I know that these poker games are not as popular as hold'em but I think it will be very educational for players who want to learn more about other poker games beside hold'em.

[/ QUOTE ]

I own most of the 2+2 library, and I'd certainly pick up some titles on PLO High, and Triple Draw. I'm looking forward to all of the titles mentioned by Mason, especially the short handed book!.

If it weren't for 2+2, I probably wouldn't be playing poker. Although the style of writing is difficult at times, their mathematical approach teaches you how to think correctly about the game.

I would speculate that these games would get a bit more popular if 2+2 put out a strategy guide to some of them.

BTW: Do you have Super System 2? There are strategy guides for all of these games. Bob Ciaffone also re-issued his Omaha book, and it has added coverage of Pot Limit O/8.

Don't forget the 2+2 book on Limit Stud 8 and O/8.

There's already been discussion about this book and it I think it has been mentioned that blind-stealing and defending will naturally be included in this book.

If someone has a link to the previous discussion/s feel free to add it. I suck at the search function and don't want to try want now.

Hi avatar77:

It's my opinion that this book will not be completed.

Best wishes,

Wow - can't wait for the Harrington Vol 4. Hope it's in the style as the others (working through problems etc.)

Mason --

I appreciate the updates and I am pleased that there will be more books in the future. I know this audience is a little biased, but I think the general consensus is that 2p2 is releasing HE books as a good rate.

Hi Chris:

From our point of view, these are all good books, and when the authors get them ready we'll move forward on them. That's what sets our schedule.

Best wishes,
Mason
