I think this would look good, but only if you shaved.

[/ QUOTE ]
This is not entirely accurate.

Where is TT to weigh in on this? I would think he would be all over this thread.

I've noticed that younger, hipper orthodox Jews (if there is such a thing) seem to wear these a lot. Instead of the hats with the funny little turned up brim that the older Jew guys wear, they wear fedoras. Pretty much everytime I go to the airport I'll see a couple of young Jewish guys wearing fedoras.

There's a guy I know who looks really good in a fedora. He's middle eastern, but he looks like he could be Cuban or Latin American...dark skin, black hair, etc. He's got a goatee, usually wears white short sleeve button-down shirts and dark slacks. He wears his fedora most of the time. Very cool. I also think some black guys look cool in fedoras. I don't think I could ever pull off the fedora look unless I was wearing a suit. I say go for it!

Is everyone telling him yes because they want him to look retarded? You have to be an old man to pull this off.

ESPN reporter George Smith wears one sometimes (when he is outside), and he looks very sharp.

They look best with a suit though; I don't recommend wearing one with jeans and a t-shirt.

I've decided to do it. I hope this thread has inspired some others to wear hats as well
