Re: First Hand Donkness
You played it exactly like the hand you have: A draw. I don't think Villian will believe you have a straight because you wouldn't try to push him off his hand. I would c/c a reasonable bet and river a spade.

Re: First Hand Donkness
dave,
if you want to try this move, a C/R is like 100 times better also, can you buy in for 200BB on absolute? |

Re: First Hand Donkness
why risk soo much? He can kinda assume you didnt raise with 78 and even if you did why would you push THAT hard and not make a value bet?

Re: First Hand Donkness
It may, I doubt it.
This move is bad for one very obvious reason: villain likes his hand. We might as well see a river and stack him then, cause he's likely to pay us off. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes and also b/c we trap some dead money. NOTE: IMO c/c is better, but just saying, if you want to get it all in, there are better ways. I'm actually not sure what I prefer, a C/R or b/3b on this turn *if* we want to get all in...thoughts? or is c/c just so far superior to both? |
