I heard him say that if it turns yellow, then the field goal is no good. It was funny though that the overlay was not centered properly.

Why don't they extend the uprights as high as technology will allow?

It means that their helmet has the radio in it. The dot is so that officials can see that there is only one radio on the field.

the green dot denotes which player has a headset in their helmet - each team gets one, and it's always the QB (for obvious reasons)
