Default UB player \"sits out\" nearly entire tourney, doesn\'t blind out.

In some $10 UltimateBet tournament last night, something very strange happened. A player named "lirroland" had a "sitting out" chip and never put in a blind nor ante. Before each hand, a message from an administrator appeared in the chatbox that said, "lirroland has been removed from the table." He was just sat out the entire time. Players commented that he had had the same stack hours earlier. Supposedly a few email UB Support, as did I. I even tried adding him to uBuddy, which told me that the player didn't exist. I tried a few variations of his name (switching capital I's and L's, since they look the same) and he still didn't appear to exist.

I ended up being "heads up" with another player, while this player just sat out. I lost the HU and received 3rd place payout. I stayed to watch what would happen and both players just sat there, not a hand was dealt.

I contacted the player later today and he said later he was awarded 1st place payout.

So, any suggestions on what I should do, besides the email I've already sent? Has anybody seen this before @ UltimateBet? I'm curious if it was simply an accident by UB or if the player knew how to get himself to do this...

Shouldn't this be in MTT Strategy? Sounds like a winning player.

Yeah I've seen this before, just make sure a bunch of people e-mail support about it they should straighten out the payouts. I can't remember why people said it happens though.

Solution: Play on sites that have support that is easily accessible (ie. Stars & BoDog)
