Gamestop is really horrible. In another example, some people that preordered PS3s through them were unable to get launch day systems since they accepted more preorders than they could fill - again. Try out Gamecrazy or just pick it up at a mainstream store. Gamestop is horrible.

I'm not a hard-core gamer, by any means. I'm the person least interested in video games. There are certain things though, that will get me goin' in the morning. Be it a new book, a Clapton concert, a movie coming out, or a long awaited game.

[/ QUOTE ] It's not just the hardcore you see in the long lineups. It's like the Harry Potter craziness. Casual gamers will temporary ramp up their interest because they want to be part of the event too.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, they do a few things that seems to drive customers away to places like Best Buy, that if they changed, I think they could capture much more market share. Their stores could be run so much better. Whenever I go in, nothing is organized (the entire store seems to be one big mess), and lines are always long. The workers are knowleedgable, but the service seems to be slow. That being said, I'm glad they are successful as I own their stock which continues to skyrocket. I just think they could make their stores so much better.

I went and paid in full about an hour ago, and they said I had to come in at 9 to get "my receipt signed" - seems like a bunch of crazy dumb crap.

[/ QUOTE ] That is pretty terrible. I just put 20 down on my preorder and have until Oct. 1 to pick it up (even though I'm getting it tonight).
