I think calling flop is fine and c/r ai on turn is def good.

pretty yuck situation tough

I think b/c on the flop is pretty awfull. Unless you think villain would raise the flop with air (unlikely both given your oppoennt and the texture imo) and follow up on the turn a lot I can't see the benefit of just calling the flop and giving him a chance to take a free card on the turn.

very interested in what people say about flop play. i normally b-3b that all day, but have you ever just gotten a bad vibe during a hand? not sure if it's timing or what but i jsut felt pretty sick about the situation

[/ QUOTE ]
yeah usually I stack off out of spite cus I'm like wow this HH will look so bad looking back on it.

If you really "felt" something I'd say trust your judgment, the replys here arn't gonna help for something like that.

i messed with stove some. on the flop you are a slight dog 48/52 if he has a flush, set, 89s, q9s,q8s, aa, kk asq, ksq. can he have aq no spade? how bout a semibluff with like ksj? does he get away from overpairs (esp with no spades) or weak 2 pair hands if you push flop?

range i used was kxs, axs, jto, jts, 89s, q9, q8s, aa, kk, qq, 99, asq, ksq.

i think its really close on the flop.

id fullpot flop or close to it, but w/e. i think bet/calling is not bad. once, however, we call and check the turn, we have to fold if he bets.

I hope you don't think folding the flop is close. And you're missing a lot of combos, such as As+gs, As+pair etc.

This just smells a lot like TJ. I'm in the check-fold camp.

its close between call and push. if he is semibluffing those ace and king combo draws then it swings it to decided push.

i think a c/f is good although you will be sometimes against AsT or AsJ, that's about it

I agree with catcher that you should go with your gut. Anyway, it looks like sets or 10 J are probably pretty big parts of his range. I guess he could have AA or KK w/ a spade or something too. Although im not sure if I do it, I like a C/F on this turn. JJ w/ J spade may be part of his range which is one of the few hands your beating + he has outs
