Does anyone have any strong opinions about ETNs?

About iPath ETNs

Good? Bad? Avoid? Fees too high? etc...

I'm looking to get some exposure to commodity futures. There are some mutual funds an ETF, but none seem to offer what I want - something that tracks the Dow Jones AIG Commodities Futures Index. Pimco offers a mutual fund that tracks that index, but the minimum investment is $5 million. Most of the others track the Goldman Sachs Commodities Index which is heavily weighted in oil.

The iPath Commodity Futures ETN tracks the Dow Jones AIG index, but the fee structure appears to be prohibitive.

TIA
