Check/calling is a lot better then pushing here. If checked to villian is pushing any pocket pair but if we push he may fold some of these hands

Completely the opposite (imo). After villain called that large 3-bet pre-flop he is calling a push on this board w/ any pair ~99% of the time. However, many villains are passive enough to check this board if he hero checks allowing another overcard to fall on the turn which will let them get away some of the time. Open checking this flop is a ridiculous case of FPS.
