KFC Tub of [censored]: Review
If you haven't seen the commercials for KFC's Tub of [censored] (KFC Famous Bowls), it looks like this:
I knew when I saw this it was going to be delicious. When I was kid, my Mom used to like to make pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. I enjoyed, to my Mother's dislike, mixing everything together in a big slop of crap on my plate. I would usually make it into a sandwich on a dinner roll. A few days ago, I went to KFC to re-live a meal of my childhood. I was suprised to find that the bowl of [censored] costs $3.99 since it is mostly comprised of mashed potatoes and corn. Of course I still buy it and it looks as you would excpect (a little less appealing in the commercial, but pretty close). The mixture of different flavors was pretty good. I would have preferred more chicken, but the bites that included all five ingredients had a nice variance in taste and texture. The amount satisfied my appetite due to all the potatoes, but I couldn't see anyone wanting to eat much more than the tub. The downside is about 30 minutes later my stomach felt like crap and you can imagine what happens a few hours after eating this mixture (mainly the corn). I couldn't recommend it to everyone, but if it looks appealing to you go for it. I wouldn't recommend eating this any time before athletic activity. Cliff NotesIt's decent and gives you disgusting [censored]. Mileage may vary[/b] |

Re: KFC Tub of [censored]: Review
Awesome, I had one for dinner and as far as disgusting fast food, this is the best thing since the crunch wrap supreme.
Tomarrow I go back to trying to be a healthy person. |

I had one the other day, and I thought it was gross...
KFC's mashed potatoes by themselves = amazing, with all this other [censored] = awful. |

Re: KFC Tub of [censored]: Review
I actually thought it was quite delicious. Being a hockey fan and having to see 100000 of these commercials forced me to try it. For once the advertising worked. I only go to KFC like once every 2 years, but if it's still around, I'd get it again.

Watching the commercial I thought it looked [censored] disgusting.
To any KFC buffs: Someone told me a couple years ago KFC commercials weren't allowed to call certain products 'chicken because there was not enough meat in it or something. They would refer to it just as KFC. Is she FOS? |

This move was made back in the era when fat, not carbs, was the major cause of people being overweight. |

If you get one of these tubs without the corn in it, it's unbelievably great - one of my favorite ways to deliciously kill myself since the meat lover's p'zone.
