Default Check Call?

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.10 BB (4 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($16.90)
UTG ($9.20)
Button ($1.85)
Hero ($5.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 8, J, K.
UTG calls $0.10, [color=#666666]1 fold</font>, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.30) T, 7, 2 [color=#0000FF](3 players)</font>
[color=#CC3333]Hero bets $0.3</font>, BB calls $0.30, UTG folds.

Turn: ($0.90) 6 [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font>
[color=#CC3333]Hero bets $0.5</font>, BB calls $0.50.

River: ($1.90) Q [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks.

Final Pot: $1.90

Would a check call be the right move on the river?

Bet/call&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;check/call. Depending on opponent and bet size, Bet/fold could also be correct. Your river check is very bad imo.

Huh, I don't think the river check is that bad.

If you do decide to bet the river, you have to fold to a raise, even a min raise.

I dunno why a check on the river is that bad especially at these limits

I think check/calling the river is pretty bad.

BB's river calling range is a lot wider than his betting range, or so I'd imagine against a standard opponent. He's going to check behind all two-pair, sets and worse FD hands that he would probably call a small bet with, like 1/2 pot. He will obviously bet the nut flush and most of the other flush hands that you beat.

He might turn some hands with showdown value into a bluff, but I don't think that happens too often.

The more passive he his the more willing you should be to bet/fold.

The more aggressive he is the more willing you should be to check/call. He's gotta be really aggro for this to be correct IMO.
