AAxx river decision - PLO 100
PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
UTG ($111.50) Hero ($126.30) CO ($105.50) Button ($54) SB ($23) BB ($51.60) Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $4.5, 3 folds, BB calls $3.50, UTG folds. Flop: ($10.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10. Turn: ($30.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. River: ($30.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets $29, Hero calls $29. I felt pretty silly making this call here. But I really couldn't think of any hand that would be betting right here with confidence, outside of a turned flush. A few things that make me think a call is good. The villian bought in short, and that usually means a poor player. Also, many players will bet less than pot with a set in this situation becaues they know that their hand will almost always be good, and they want to value bet two pair. Anyway, alot of this post is just me talking to myself, but any thoughts? |

HaHa I short buy for that exact reason (The villian bought in short, and that usually means a poor player) So easy to get a quick double up or a 3 way draw w/ nut flush. Turned set isn't your problem here flopped mid set or turned two pair where he was trying to check raise you on turn to commit) Don't remember the exact percentage that any 4 cards with have two pair by the river against an AA hand on an unpaired board but I think it's better then the 33% pot odds you have here so it's an essentially -ev call regardless if he's bluffing

This is not a decision. This is just aweful. Please fold, unless you hate money.

Re: AAxx river decision - PLO 100
What possible hand can you put him on here where you have him beat? Calling the bet on the flop signals he probably has a set or at least 2 pair. Maybe he just had a king but of course chances are hes hit two pair here by the end. Save your money for a better spot.
