Default Rio (LV) knowledge?

Are the rooms in the two Rio towers different? I got a room in the Masquerade tower(the big oval one), which is a freakin' long walk from the poker room. I don't know if the rooms in the other tower are cheaper or not, but it's a lot shorter walk. Are they the same quality?

I've stayed in two towers there - one on the convention side and one over by the parking areas (I think thats the one you're talking about.) Both were comped via my friend and both rooms seemed similar, I doubt there is much if any $ diff but during the WSOP the one on the convention side is probably in higher demand. You should check in the AM before people starting checking in for this weekend if they can move you.

Yeah, I might need to do the $20 trick next time I check in, just to get the same quality room with a shorter walk.
