yeah. it's hard to pass up the bears getting 7...i'm sure quite a few people lost money on that one.

Really? I can't imagine that spread swaying me...and I'm a huge Bears fan. It was pretty obvious that Da Bears were either gonna win by 20 or lose by about a billion. No chance on the final score being close, one way or the other. I still have no idea how they kept the final margin to 12.

Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled thread about Vegas nits.

That was EXACTLY my analysis as well.

A lot of money did come in on Da Bears. The pointspread line was -120, and even on the Colts. They told me they didn't want to move to -6.5 so they did it this way.

This is why dealer's become action monkeys, BTW. We can't stand watching this crap.

Which is probably why some dealers become bad players. The difference should be:

When you're dealing, you have to stay in whatever game you're dealing. Can't get up & walk away.

As a player, you can choose to go play another table or casino. That game of 4 limpers and $10 bet takes it down on the flop sounds like a bad game. A player could easily go somewhere else.

I fight the battle of not getting up from a game just because it's the only one in town. Working on discipline to wait for a better game/day is part of becoming a better player. One of these days I hope to be there.
