playing abroad

i'm from europe and i'm gonna visit canada this month (if things are going well america, too). i'll have my notebook, internet and some spare time on this trip, so i hope i can play a hand or two. i have heard some site will freeze my account if i log in from another country, so i wondered if anyone knows which sites do this.
