I feel like a retard, easy questions...(i think)

Ok first of all, when i try to shut down my PC, go to start and then try to find the shutdown button, it's not there. Though the Log-off button is there. What is going on? Where's my shutdown button? I have windows XP.

Ok one more, when i open up IE, it says something like "Serial99.com" in the top menu(the same menu where you can minimize, maximize or shutdown your window). For instance right now it's "The 2+2 Forums: Make a New Post - Forum (Computer Technical help) - Serial99.com

How do i remove that serial99.com line?

Serial99 seems to be some warez site. I think you've got some malware goin on. Check the FAQ for malware detection and links.

you may want to only use your system in Safe mode until you get this resolved. and get a good firewall.

How about the none existing turn-off button? i can't find the search menu either and my run tab is gone aswell.
wat the [censored] is going on?

Btw. i used Adaware to remove some of the malware, but serial99.com is still in the top of my IE explorer menu.
