Default NL10 - Blind Steal Gone Horribly Wrong

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

Hero (SB): $11.15
BB: $15.00
UTG: $0.70
MP: $5.05
CO: $2.45
BTN: $6.55

Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, BB raises to $1.40, Hero calls $1.00

Flop: ($2.80) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB raises to $3.00, Hero raises all-in to $9.75, BB calls $6.75

Turn: ($22.30) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($22.30) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $22.30 ($2 Rake)

BB had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a full house, Kings full of Aces) and WON (+$9.15)
Hero had 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Kings) and LOST (-$11.15)

Preflop

I've been stealing blinds liberally, and BB is a fairly aggressive player. I raise, hoping to take the blinds. He re-raises, I call figuring he's playing back at me. (Hoping to take down pot with c-bet.)

Flop

I flop 2 pair, KK 66. Bet $.50 hoping to induce a raise. He raises, I push. Lose to KKK.

What would you have done differently?

Don't post results with the hand, skewers results.
This isn't a blind steal, its blind vs blind also.
Fold to his 3bet preflop, you're out of position with a most likely dominated hand.
Postflop after you call, nothing you can do but get all in.

Raise is fine you just have to fold when the villain 3bets. Sure he might be making a move but it is also NL10 where most players don't make moves, not to mention you have K6 out of position. In order to make money in the long run you have to have an edge and at these stakes the edge is often playing better cards in position and you are doing neither this hand.

Couldn't be?

What the hell else is he three-betting preflop with, and pushing this hard with?

3 hands. AA, KK, AK.

No, even postflop isn't standard.

Fold pf. The initial raise is fine but you need to dump it after that. You have garbage, you're out of position, and you've been reraised. Once you get to the flop this is just a bad beat post (don't post results).

This is not a bad beat post at all. You were behind from the start and you THOUGHT you redrew.

Fold to 3bet preflop and you should not be trying to raise K6s to steal blinds. This is not a tournament. You don't make the bulk of your profit off of hands like this.

Also, what is up with the weak lead? You should be leading the pot size here.

preflop isn't bad if hes soft, free money is free money... gotta fold to the 3-bets with a mediocre hand like this, can't assume hes weak without knowing he will play back weak.

This is $10 NL, these players don't know how to 3bet bluff here for the most part. He has you beat preflop most likely here everytime. As you learned.
