2/4 annoying preflop spot against possible squeeze
2/4 Full Tilt I open with TT to 14. I'm playing about 26/20 right now and have 450 behind me. I get cold called by a 35/10 fish, and then a 15/8 nit comes along on the button. SB, who's playing about 24/18 raises to 85 with 500 behind. I hate all my options.
1) Percentage of time {raise, fold, call}? 2) What do you do with JJ? 3) QQ? 4) AK? I feel like calling is absolutely awful, even if people call behind me, since they're only putting their money in when they flop a set, and the odds of me flopping a set and them flopping a set are about 1/65, so that shouldn't really matter that much, but I want to make sure I'm thinking correctly. Thanks. |

your forgetting set over set over set
seriously...tough spot. If it is the first time, I think fold is in order. Unless he likes to do this often, u might wanna think about pushing. |

Re: 2/4 annoying preflop spot against possible squeeze
I would often call in your spot. You dont mind overcalls because if SB DOES have a premium hand they inflate the point to gaurentee you stacking him (likewise for any flopped sets behind you). If SB DOESNT have a hand on the flop its much harder for him to stab at it with many players to act, where as 1on1 he fires every time with xy.
