nl25 weird spot w/top two in rred pot
villain was bad, stationy. Not enough hands for stats.
my first thought was to just shove, but I cant really think of what would call me that im beating. 10 j got there, i lose to sets, underpairs fold, AQ and KQ pay me off Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com Button ($17.95) Hero ($33) BB ($27.40) UTG ($4.90) MP ($49.65) CO ($19.40) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Button raises to $0.5, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, Button calls $1.50. Re: nl25 weird spot w/top two in rred pot
bet/3bet shove seem fine here. Villain will prob raise here with any 2 pair as well as JT and once he raises with 2 pair he is committed to call the shove. But I think you will definitely see 2pr here slightly more often than you will see JT or at least enough to justify getting stacks in the middle based on dead money in the pot.

I definitely bet here... Especially since you didn't pot the flop he could have any number of things besides JT. AQ, KQ, QJ..

Re: nl25 weird spot w/top two in rred pot
Open shove villain only has $13 behind..
I give no respect to a semi-short stacked villain that open min raises from the button unless you have a read that villain ONLY min raises monsters...OOP vs an open min raise I make it $3 to go PF... |

Re: nl25 weird spot w/top two in rred pot
Raise more PF, punish him for the min raise, and if he is a typical station here, really punish him for calling you with his typical trash.
Plus if you raise larger PF, it makes roughly a PSB on the turn when you put him in. As played I bet slightly more on the flop, and then put him in on the turn. No way do I ever fold TP/TK to a station in this situation. |

I think a shove here is good especially if he is bad and stationary. He will never fold AQ or KQ here. |

Final Pot: $51.20 Results Hero has Kd Ad (two pair, aces and kings). Button has As Tc (one pair, aces). Outcome: Hero wins $51.20. |
