Default Defending BB with AXs, KXs, QXs type hands and SB leads out

OK, so its 4-5 ways to you so you call a two bet from the big blind with a suited A, K, or Q.

The raiser is LP and not a loose raiser.

Say for K4s, flop is KTT with no backdoor flush.

SB leads out....

Safe to dump for 1 bet? Should we pot it up to two bets and see what happens?

What kind of board can we continue on here? Only a very raggedy, unpaired board?

not the flop your looking for here. you want to flop nut flush draw, trip 4s, or K42. this flop sucks - if lucky you chop this pot. dump it now...

Advice like that makes Ed Miller cry.

This pot is big, you need a really good reason not to see a showdown. I think it's an easy raise if you think you can get Kx or even AA to fold.

Nice 13th post sir. Lurk more, you have a long way to come.

In these games there is so much money in the pot pre-flop from dead + speculative hands and the behavior is so erratic that you can't fold here for a single bet that could mean anything.

As for AA folding, it sounds silly but bad players make bad plays all the time, including bad folds. I'm also usually the tightest person at the table which can inspire some pretty bold/stupid laydowns from people who misread me.

bad players also play k4 on this flop when bet into with 5 players behind us. are we to assume everyone else at this table is blind and completely retarded??? If so, then i suggest 3-betting with this "gem" preflop...

Fold.

If it was KT8 it'd be different, mostly because you can at least make two pair for the whole pot.

Forget my silly comment about getting Kx and AA to fold. We'd love to get AQ and AJs out of there and both of those are UTG raising hands!

When Hold'em is played well, 4 handed pots are rare and 5 handed is almost unheard of. So I'll take retarded for a rack Alex.

K4s doesn't have an equity edge against a retarded range.
