this is it right here. kobe not only wants a potential title team he also wants the right city. new york, chicago, phoenix or miami are the only cities he goes to imo.

its dumb for sure, but if kobe negotiated a no trade clause he is going to use it hoping to get an absolute dream situation otherwise he opts out and goes wherever.

I can def see Kobe not wanting to have this trade go down. Without Ray or Prince, Detroit is just an old team with not much depth.
