arg, 10/20 6handed, unknown villian
Hand #3 Button raises, I call w/ 236TT, BB calls All draw 2 I lead 23668, both call I draw 1 and make 23468, BB stands pat, button draws 1 I check, BB bets, button raises, I 3 bet, button CAPS!! It's best to fold on the turn here, no? Anyone call down? He just calls my flop lead then he's willing to cap the turn, obviously indicating a lot of strength. |

Re: Two tough 10/20 2-7 hands
Re: 3
I'd probably just flat call button's raise. Why 3-bet there? Raising BB who stood pat shows a lot of strength. Though, flat-calling your bet and then standing pat is pretty donkish, so button might think a 96 or something is good there. In any case, after the 3-bet, especially if BB called button's raise (which you don't specify), I think that's an okay spot to fold unless you have a read otherwise. 86 is probably the minimum kind of hand button is playing like that if he's any good and you're going to have to call another bet to make it to showdown. |

Re: Two tough 10/20 2-7 hands
There've been a lot of psychotic breaking games in the 10/20 lately. If the capper in the third hand is who I think it is, I would call, stand pat, and expect him to draw.

2461Badugi, any comments on hands 1 or 2 ? [/ QUOTE ] Unknown opponents suck. I'm not sure there's anything else I can say. Standard would probably be to break in the first hand and just call in the second, but there are plenty of people those would be mistakes against. |

Re: Two tough 10/20 2-7 hands
i think on the first hand i might stand and see what our opponent does behind. standing in front may make him think a rough 8 or a smooth 9 is no good, and if he stands pat behind we then know we're probably beat and we can draw on the last round to our 7.
hand 2 i'm probably raising with #2 and calling a 3-bet, i don't like capping with all that action because he just may have caught perfect and i guess the 'cardinal' rule is don't put in 4 bets on the river w/out #1.. hand 3's probably a fold since we've got no redraw to the nuts. just my 2c worth. |

Re: Two tough 10/20 2-7 hands
Hand #1 I chose to broke and made an 87 again on the last draw. River went check/check and he showed a 96532.
Hand #2 I raised the river and called a 3 bet. I was shown 23457. |

Hand #2 I raised the river and called a 3 bet. I was shown 23457. [/ QUOTE ] Soooo sick.. If it makes you feel better this probably won't happen again in a long time. In like 250k 2-7 hands i only had this happen to me once when i was pat predraw with #2. |
