Default What are some good acoustic covers to learn?

So my roommate and I are in the process of starting an acoustic act (he sings I play guitar)

This is a list of songs we have down so far

1. Shinedown- Save me
2. Seether- Broken
3. Fuel- Innocence
4. Foot Switch- Have to learn
5. Alice in chains- Rooster
6. Trapt- Headstrong

What would be some cool acoustic songs that you would want to hear if you were out at a bar ? We are trying to stay as close as we can to mostly rock songs but I need some good suggestions.

Also, if you're going to cover an AIC song acoustically, I'd go with Nutshell, or some other song from Jar of Flies.

If you wanted to mix it up and do something totally badass, throw some Spanish Flamenco stuff in for the acoustic equivalent of an electric hot-dogging solo.

You prolly know what I'm getting at but here is a pretty cool example anyway

I think Oasis is a really good place to look, they have loads of good acoustic songs.

Actually, just read you want "rock" songs, so....

If you want rock songs like that why only acoustic?

Nonetheless,
Sublime stuff could work
Third Eye Blind
Tenacious D - Wonderboy ldo

Yeah, I can't really think.

Also, How good on guitar are you? This is pretty crucial.
