river is a quick fold.
IMO probably lay down the turn. Terrible card hits, UTG bets and CO calls, we are not ahead here.

how common is that 1/3 pot lead on the turn at these tables?

Dont think it matters how common it is. He made it, and what I will be fearing is COs flat call.
Calling the turn is a great example of a reverse implied odds situation, if it is that we are not beat yet.

I recommend a larger raise preflop, probably 8 BBs. You're charging them not only to outdraw you, but to enjoy their positional advantage. You should still get some action at these stakes.

Also I like a full PSB on the flop. You very likely have the best hand (QJ and 66 are the only logical hands that beat you), but your hand is vulnerable so now's the time to get more money in the pot. Also notice that the larger PFR raise allows to you make a bigger bet on the flop, really cutting down on the villains' implied odds.

Grunch:

Preflop: Raise more. At least 4xBB + 1 per limper. I also throw in another BB because we are OOP.

Flop: This is a drawy flop, we need to bet the pot here and hope a Q or flush draw follows us along.

Turn: I lead out here for $4. I am throwing my bet out there and folding to a raise.

As played, short of some monster read it is really hard to justify folding getting 5:1 to call. The problem that we have here is there is a bet (albeit a weak one) and a call. If we are behind then we have 3 outs to improve to a straight (I don't think we can count the T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] here) that may already be beaten. Our K outs suck as they complete at least a straight, and maybe a 4 flush.

Any raise here would need to be an all-in, which seems like a huge spew to me.

I think that I call here and pray for the unlikely cheap showdown or the miracle T. Even this may be a spew, but I really, really hate folding getting 5:1.

River:

Easy fold.

After the Hand:

Play 6-Max. Even if you are able to get decent action now, the action as you move up in limit is at 6-Max.

Thanks guys for the replies, I realized now that a larger preflop raise is certainly needed in these games. I usually play .10/.25 but was killing time playing in this one. I do always seem to do worse in the lower limits, not sure why I even bother on these tables. At any rate CO had Ad7d, he showed after we folded river, unreal how these guys call 6x raise with hands like this and get rewarded for it.

That's donks for you

Which is more reason why you have to raise big with a premium hand like KK against these donks, to hopefully drive out hands like Ax suited who then flop a nut FD and outdraw you at some point.
