Recently NZ radio station The Rock had a countdown of the top 1000 rock songs ever. The song placings were decided on by votes from the general public. Somewhere around 60K votes were counted.

what i find most amazing is that there are maybe three or four bands on this list whose best song is actually the song listeners picked.

Man I heard that song for the first time listening to this countdown, what a bloody awesome song it is too.

Im in agreeance with everyone here. Everlong maybe but theres no way best of you should even be in top 1000 let alone top 20.

The list gets worse, much worse...I was appalled at some of the choices, and by one major band not any where on the list - Rush. Sad, just sad.
