I've tried hitting the curved part. One time at a Phillies game I had about 6 beers and hadn't peed and I was aiming at the side to get the curve so it bounces to the back of the urinal.
Next thing I know dude next to me starts yelling (I'm drunk) that i'm pissing on him so I point to my pee and show him that my stream is clearly in the urinal. He throws out some fighting words but then sees my friends. For the record I didn't want to fight a 45 year old guy with his kid. Anyway, so that's when I started evaluating different ways to avoid the rebound. Right now, low and to the left is working best, I was aiming way to high and the guy was probably right about getting hit with my rebound on his bare legs (he was wearing shorts). Pretty sure EricW would have bent down to get a shower if he was at that game with me.
