Dids,

stop hatin.

ps- there are about 50000000 rappers that are "what is wrong about hip hop". a large percentage of them are from the south. lil wayne is an exception.

have you listened to the whole drought 3 mixtape that i linked to?

lil wayne's cameos are for the large part awful.

his commercial Tha Carter CDs are mediocre at best.

this mixtape is awesome. i've probably listened to this whole CD 75-100 times and its sooo good.

my recent CD downloads/purchases were Aesop Rock, Brother Ali, RA the Rugged Man, Murs, Jurassic 5, and plenty other groups that you often list and praise. i can't stand commercial rap. but i love lil wayne.

please ignore the fact that he often raps about some awful things, has some misses. If you accept it for what it is, he is the absolute best at what he does.

Him and Juelz Santana are working on a full length CD based off their "I Can't Feel my Face" thing, and its gonna be great, and I'm gonna love it.

that is all

Yes, because clearly my dislike for Wayne is because I want to be popular with a bunch of people on the internet and not because I think he's a horrible MC.

coming into a thread about a mainstream mc and talking about Aesop Rock makes it look like you're just trying to name drop for cred, whether or not it's true.
