When you float here and assume that villain checks on the turn, what size bet would be adequate?

you aren't floating, you probably have the best hand. Just call flop reeval turn.

I agree with floating flop with the intention of taking it away on the turn... or folding to a bad turn.

I don't like re-raising preflop because it only announces the showdown strength of your hand, and you'll make more money against a raiser in a cash game playing for a set.

Or by being able to take advantage of flop texture later in the hand, like we're trying to do here.
