[/ QUOTE ] studios invoke force majeure and cancel deals with producers, writers, basically anyone they want to get rid of. High profile writers/directors/producers usually are smart and add a clause that says they can't be terminated this way. you'll start seeing this 6-8 weeks after the strike began. Same goes for agencies etc
