Playing overcards on the flop

He probably has loose requirements and probably hit something on this flop and thinks you have nothing .. probably thought you were betting Overcards so bet into you.

If you raise to see later streets cheap I think you have to fold the river when you don't improve.

I probably would have just called and see if I could pull a strong draw.

On the flop I wouldn't be concerned about the flush draws too much.. because if they hit a weak flush draw you have a chance to draw to a better hand.
