Daniel,

Posting this in NVG is kind of dangerous. This is both one of the most popular forums here, as well as the center for retards and railbird idiots, who have no real need for any high stakes changes.

I think the most important things for stars to address at this moment regarding high stakes NL, are as follows.

1) The shortstack/ratholer "issue." You obviously are well aware of the problem. Possible solutions:
a. >30 min to return to the table w/ 20xbb after leaving w/ more than that.
b. Increase min buy in (my preferred choice)
c. Doomswitch all shortstackers?

2) Higher rake than full tilt at high stakes NL. Full Tilt offers rakeback, and has a FPP like program (while not as good as stars', combined with rakeback, results in more money back to the player). Not sure why stars has a policy of saying they offer lower rake than other sites, when in reality that is a blatent lie.

3) More 6m: Practically everyone prefers 6 max to full ring nl. Look at 10/20 and 5/10. It is EXTREMELY rare to see more full ring games running than shorthanded games at any given level. Obviously, Pokerstars has to consider the business end of having more 6 max. It probably busts fish faster, but I have no idea. The reality is that if you open up more 25/50 6 max, there will be more action. I realize this is already happening, I just want to ensure it isn't just a short trial, and 6 max becomes the standard.

4) HU games- I hope they are coming, for obvious reasons.

PPL posting in this thread,

This is a very important opportunity, please to not spam w/ ideas like half pot limit badugi, or whatever. Post ideas that stars will employ, because they help both the user and the site. Pick your battles, and try to post coherently and intelligently. When the 100/200 players asked Daniel for a deep table, he got it going within a week. This is a real opportunity, so do not waste it.

Party used to have a turbo $2 rebuy when I first started playing. I thought that was fun and affordable for players with a smaller bankroll. I think something similar would be an interesting addition to the tourney schedule (something like the $3 rebuy turbo satellites but a regular payout structure).
