Default any chance of getting a POT LIMIT hold \'em game going in AC?

I will be heading down to AC the day after Thanksgiving. I usually play at Showboat, and plan to go there on this day.

I'm wondering if there is a chance to find enough players interested in playing $1-$2 or maybe $1-$3 (or $3-$3) pot limit hold 'em.

If not Showboat, would any other poker room spread this? I refuse to play at the Taj, but am open to any other room.

Any other 2+2ers going to be there? Anyone interested in playing some live PLHE?

I would call the rooms and ask about their willingness to do so. I believe new games have to be approved by the NJ CCC, following a request from a casino operator. I would wonder whether the casinos in AC have sought regulatory approval for PLHE, since I'm not aware of any actually spreading it.

Also, Friday after Thanksgiving is likely to be a busy day in AC, so you might want to focus on a lower-tier room that's unlikely to be full-- Hilton, maybe-- since they're more likely to agree to take up a table with a special-request game.

Good luck with this; I hope it works out.

Before no limit hold em took over, the only "big-bet" game took place at the Trop. The Trop used to spread a $5-$5 pot limit game.

Call some poker rooms and see if they will/can spread the game. If the room can, they will create an interest list and the game might go.

I would play in the game, however I cannot make it down until about 8pm.

Thanks Poshua and Mike for the responses. Now I'm thinking maybe I should try this on another trip, on a day that is likely to be less crazy than Black Friday.

I would so love to play more PLO that I'd almost consider flying across the country to play it.

I would definately play in such a game. Having learned to play in Europe, I like PLHE and PLO. I'm in NYC now and can go to AC pretty much anytime. Feel free to PM me if you are going to try to get this going.

The Borgata spreads a 5-10 pot limit Omaha game on rare occasions. If you have enough people to fill a table, then I'm sure that they'd be willing to spread a pot limit holdem game.
