Default ps 6.50 turbo push or fold on the bubble

no real maniacs at this table

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I disagree. I know we're on the bubble, but if there are no real maniacs, why not raise to 500 or so. There is a very good chance you can steal the blinds and if you're beat, they'll let you know. Or....limp on the button.

My point is that raising and limping are probably both + EV....just because our hand isn't strong enough to push 13 bb's....I don't think we need to shut down completely and not play. Raise or even limp (based on your reads of opponents play so far).....but try to pick up some chips here.

Yeah raising is probably fine as long as you are careful postflop. His title said push or fold though so maybe he isn't comfortable raising.
