Also, that its live instead of online make the 3-bet better so its a better chance to get it all-in faster, Villian might pick up a tell on Hero later etc. and get away from his hand. Makes sence?

4-betting on a K paired board is about the biggest tell you can give.

I like a call here in position. This lets him lead the turn strong as (what he thinks is) a semibluff with a diamond draw or a pair of 9's if he thinks your FOS. Obviously if he has AK/KQ you're most likely getting his stack no matter how you play it.

definitely just call his c/r. He's either drawing dead or to 3 outs. Give him a chance to follow up on turn with his KQ/KJs/Flush draw. OOP, I dont mind a lead/gayish 3 bet, just because of stack sizes, and the risk of him checking behind on turn if you call flop raise and check turn.

I like the 3-bet, but would make it 360 or so. You are deep enough so its a risk you dont get much from him if a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] comes on the turn and he have a king. And I think he will call a somewhat smaller 3-bet than you did with a flush draw but might very well lay it down when you raised that much.

Downside of course that you might miss a turn bet from him if he is bluffing but I like a 3-bet anyway.

Does anyone take a 3-bet min-raise line here? I almost certainly wouldn't do it live, because it seems to convey too much strength. But online, I think it accomplishes a couple of things. First, it's a $100 value-bet that gets called a lot, I think, so even if villian shuts down on the turn, you've at least made $100 more. More importantly, it just keeps the betting open on the flop. I'd expect it to be quite likely here that villian doesn't have a K, but is simply trying to represent one. By quickly min-raising online, you seem to be saying, "yeah, yeah, yeah...I'll play who's got the K with you here (when clearly neither of us do)." Against an opponent that hates to be the one to blink, I think this play goes a long way toward inducing a large 4-bet bluff by him. I also would take this line against an opponent that will shut down if reraised on the flop OR if flat-called (and I think there are many that play that way). They make their one play for the pot and if it doesn't work out, they give up.

Anyway, anyone play it like this?

i really hate this play when it should be easy to get the money in on the turn and river.

our goal is to show the least strength possible while building the pot.

By quickly min-raising online, you seem to be saying, I have AK or better, please give me chips.
