Trip report please...Did they hassle you at all or request any info out of the norm? How much was your payout for? I have a 3k payout I'm going to pick up today and I'm just wondering how it all went for you. Thanks

They are trying to process the transaction ASAP, its better it takes longer rather than having Western Union flag your name and then get the feds involved.

Finally got mine after like two weeks - went down to some shady ass check cashing store and filled out the WU form. The lady didnt even ask any questions besides "is this your first time here". I gave her an expired out-of-state ID and she handed me a wad of cash...

But I hear they're no longer doing WU payouts right?

they are paying out via cheque by mail if its under $100 or cheque by courrier if its over $100 for free...its just taking a while as the providr who is issuing the cheques are taking longer than expected due to high volumes.

I got mine, and the person at the counter of the check cash store just asked for my SSN, ID and occupation in order to process the transaction (this was after I filled out the form). It took like 5-10 minutes for her to print out the checks and give me cash. It was fairly hassle free, although some of the other customers who go to these places are a little scary.
