QQ as an overpair
maybe very standard. if so i apologise. just wondering if there's any room for debate.
villain is a realative newcomer at the table but seems to see at least 50% of all flops. Re: QQ as an overpair
Could be a flushdraw or a four. Ofcourse villain could have a 2, but that won't always be the case.
You're pretty deep. I think I would call this and evaluate the turn. Maybe check/call turn + river if no club comes out, and the bets are reasonable? I don't think I would want to go broke here, am I right? |

Re: QQ as an overpair
I raise here again. Very easily button could have A high and put you on a C-Bet only. Also quite often people in position bet their draws. They do this hoping you just smooth call, then check the turn, that way if they miss they get a "free" card. I definitely re-raise villain here. Raise it to 15 or so and see from there what happens. If he is as loose as you say, a 2 may be very possible, and that re-raise you throw will get to see what he has. I also see the villain holding cards like 77-99 here.

Sooooo many hands a donkish villain will pay off with here. And I dont consider 120bbs to be deep at all. |

[/ QUOTE ] Raising and folding to a push is pretty bad IMO. If we raise to 15 and villain pushes, it will only be like 9 more to us in a 62 pot. Nit edit: 63.8 pot |
