Default Disabling time bank from activating automatically from the blinds?

i got to my computer 3-4 minutes late for the wcoop today and posted BB first hand so i lost my whole 120 second timebank, i think there is a better way to hand this sitution by not activating it automatically in first 15 minutes or something

if you a blind on hand one you will time all the way through your bank, so it happens randomly

i think what he's saying is tha tyou were by the computer and clicked on 'ok' to sit down. and then you left, and were in teh bb so it caused you to lose it.

your timebank shouldnt run unless you hit the "extend time" button.

fulltilt got it right and they didn't even implement it first

Auto-running the timebank provides disconnect protection.

And some plain stupidity protection. I have more than once experienced the horror of seeing a lock hand folded on the turn with half of my chips in a monster pot, because I'd spent too much time figuring out how to get the rest in - forgetting my time bank was gone ... On pokerstars if you register for a tournament and you are logged in, when the tournament starts the table pops open, if you are in the SB or BB on the first hand when the action gets to you it will burn your whole time bank before you fold.

This is the exception i think could easily be handled by stars.

I agree with FatalError that this is a problem. It has occasionally happened to me coming back after a break: if you happen to be in the blind that hand -- or in any position if there are antes -- being late can exhaust your entire time bank.

I would remedy this by allotting the time bank gradually. For example, maybe you begin with 20 seconds in your time bank and receive 20 additional seconds every 90 minutes.
