the fighting in blades of steel was awesome

This was the best part of the game. If you won the fight the other team went down a man for a little while until he recovered or whatever.

yep. Win the fight, get a power play

how awesome was that

yo whatever happened to bases loaded 2: the second season?

my softball team used to sing the homerun song to that whenever somebody hit one out, it was amazing. the game was pretty good, too.

I don't see how the finals can be anything other than Zelda vs Mario.

And I'll be voting Zelda.

There was a soccer game for NES where if you slide-tackled the opponent succesfully they would fall down on the field injured. This was easy to do so there were usually a few players scaterred around the field. They were little chunky guys, so if anyone knows what game I'm talking about, please let me know.

How the hell is the US Mario 2 even on the poll?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was wondering the same thing. It's not even a true Mario game.

Because you just stay in Princess the whole game?

[/ QUOTE ]

toad trumps except for a couple levels where you use luigi, Mario is basically inferior to those to on every level

I would rank the players...

Luigi... his long jumps made life so much easier.
Toad
Mario
Princess... she is sooooo slow

Princess can float though, Luigi's all spastic and overmoves by a few feet every move.

Ya, I always found princess to be dominant.

I meant not a true Mario game in the sense that after the strong demand for Mario 1, creators were scrambling for a Mario 2. They were nowhere near a final product, so they re-made another game recently released in Japan called Doki Doki Panic and changed the characters to Mario Bros. characters. Not sure if this is common knowledge since I barely play video games and know it, but I always found it pretty interesting.

easy road in the brackets. I agree that it should be gone, but it has been the better game in it's head-to-head match-ups.

What sucked the most about NES is some of the really great games don't get the love they deserve because they're not bigtime games, stuff like Little League World Series and Top Players' Tennis.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is the best baseball game on NES.
Hate to say it but Team Canada is the best.
