His teams in Buffalo didn't have a ton of talent, but always had a stout D and suffered from the incredibly stupid decision to start Rob Johnson instead of Doug Flutie. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Cowboys Pick Phillips
Ahahahahahahahaha....
As a Bills fan, all I can say to the Cowboys is: good luck! The most indelible impression I have of the Wade Phillips years in Buffalo is his constantly perplexed expression on the sidelines when things didn't go as he expected. He's a bad head coach. |

Re: Cowboys Pick Phillips
I'm a Giants fan. My co-worker is a Packers fan. We can't stand the Cowboys. When I told him this news today about Wade Phillips, we both just started laughing. Nice.

Re: Cowboys Pick Phillips
A great big thank you to Jerry Jones from all the Bears' fans. Now just hire Ron Turner as the offensive coordinator and you may become my favorite owner.

[ QUOTE ] His teams in Buffalo didn't have a ton of talent, but always had a stout D and suffered from the incredibly stupid decision to start Rob Johnson instead of Doug Flutie. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] The offense scored 20 points in 2 road games all year; and Tenn. was easily the best defense they played all year with 2 starters on the OL injured. The timing of the move was certainly questionable; but in taking the results-oriented approach I've never thought dogging him for that decision made any sense. |
