i'm going to be investing in tipsters etc, spent last few days looking now and again over sites which should give me a decent tax free return.

What do you mean by tax free return?

im from the uk so we pay no gambling tax. one of the few things tony blair has got right. a couple of sites ive found are of interest. this is the thread in the sports betting forum ive been posting on to find which are some realible sites:

no jokes, this is easy money. it's like paying a winning poker player to play with your bankroll.

im going to do maxnetreturns and ferriks place. only problem is football (uk soccer/premiership) season is almost finished so maxnet won't do much in the next couple of months. don't know about american season sport calender.

either way though, decent returns to be made through very little effort.

I think it was Ed Seykota who said "Everybody gets what they want from the market."

He was dead right. You are getting entertainment which is fine, as long as you're not gambling with money you'll need for something important.

I'll give you a stockmarket tip: Don't use tips from anybody or any magazine/paper or any internet forum.

kimchi, im not doing this solely for entertainment, it's more that it develops my interest in the markets. even though i still know very little, i feel i have learnt a lot already.

i put stop losses on party at 53p and half of my holding on urasia at 340p which both have just been met.

ive now pumped that money plus a bit more in GLD, which i think is a good investment over the next year.

in general i am looking for investments which will do well over the next 12 months for when i will hopefully use it as a large deposit on a house, or i may continue to leave at home if it makes more sense.

I've gotten tired of repeating the same warnings.

I hope you have fun.
