Default Newbie question: stats describing other players

I'm reading some of the Small Stakes NL HE posts, and see descriptions of opponents using numbers like "he's 43/24/6" ... what is this referring to?

Default Re: Newbie question: stats describing other players

Those stats refer to VP$IP/PFR/AF.

VP$IP: Voluntarily put $ into the pot. This is the percentage of hands that your opponent has willingy seen a flop (ie. checking behind a bunch of limpers in the big blind preflop doesn't count)

PFR: Pre Flop Raise. This is the % of hands that your opponent has raised preflop

AF: Agression Factor. This number is attained by the following formula:

(Bet + Raise) / (Call)

Normally when people talk about AF they are talking about post flop AF, so pre flop raises and calls are not factored in.

Hope that helps.

Thanks!

I gather they are using some kind of tracking software to calculate these numbers?
