Yeah, I mean, surviving and thriving as a poker player for fifty years is one thing, but a quip about how to play poker that appears on TV, that's what really makes the man.

Of course, Chris Moneymaker made a similar call against Dutch Boyd with 33 on a 952R board in 2003. Fantastic call though. I for one think great calls, more than great bluffs, are an underrated part of world class poker (Stu Ungar's 10 high call being the best EVAR)

First, nowhere do I discount the fact that he's been so successful for so long. Complimenting one aspect of a person doesn't mean you think less of other qualities they have. So [censored] off.

Second, not only was the line funny, but it was delivered classily. I thought it was the perfect response to one of the things I hate most about poker (the "how could you make that play" whining). So [censored] off.
