Default 20\" - 24\" monitor?

Hello,

I use a laptop for poker with an external 19" external CRT monitor (bad quality).
Because I can barely read the stack and bet sizes when playing 7+ tables on the 19"(1600*1200), because of the bad quality of the monitor, I want to buy a new monitor.
As far as I know you can tile up to 9 non overlapping PS tables on 1600*1200 resolution.

Now I would like to know:
1) How many non overlapping tiled tables can I play on a 20" monitor and on 24" monitor(1920*1200). - I read about the formula in the monitor FAQ, but I do not know the actual sizes of the smallest possible PS table window.
2) Can my laptop display 1900*1200 24" monitor?

There is a Radeon ATI x1300 graphics card in the laptop. For more details: http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=327091

Thanks in advance!
