yeah, you didn't mention this deposit stuff before.
If she doesn't blame you for the damages then she's going to say that you left her hi-and-dry without much notice at all so she's just going to keep it because of the inconvenience you're causing her.

There's a good chance she is going to find some excuse to not give you back the deposit just because she;'s a psycho and that's what psychos do.

Try to talk to her when she's sober and close to rational. See if you can get the deposit then.

Either that or just break into her place and forge a check with her signature while she's all messed up. You can later tell her that she really did give you the check but she must have been too high to remember doing it.
