Computer Sound System? Input?
So call me a newb, but I my expertise in this field extends to the user ratings of Cnet and Amazon (at least its better than following the Cnet review). Also, I will point out that I care significantly about Bass output, and while I understand that might be frowned upon to some degree, it is my taste.
Requirements: $200 Max Solid Bass So I am leaning towards these, Logitech z-5300 at $119 $120 sounds reasonable for a sound system since I am NOT an audiophile. Only thing I doubt is the 100 watt woofer. Of course, I know nothing about getting a set of speakers independent of a woofer, although that gives a lot more control of the woofer quality of course. Advice? |

Re: Computer Sound System? Input?
I dont like 5.1 systems for computers. I have a 2.1 system and keep all my wires/cable relatively neat but it can be a pain sometimes. I couldnt deal with 3 extra outputs in my 'work' area.
I've owned the Creative Labs I-Trigue 3400 2.1 for over two years and they are plentry good for tunes and tv/dvd on the computer. I think I paid 49.99 after rebate when Comp USSR was running a deal. |

I have the soundsticks II and love them, although I cared about sound + looks as I have a mac.
