Default Could Drudge BE dumber?

His huge banner now reads "Magazine Shock: Republicans Will Hold Congress".

The link: http://online.barrons.com/public/article...b_free_features

It's some less-than-worthless article predicting individual elections based solely on campaign cash advantages. For example, he has Mark Kennedy winning in the Minnesota Senate race. This is not a competitive race. Kennedy will lose. He also has Burns winning Montana, despite beying behind in every poll taken for the past few months.

Contrary to everything we know about political behavior, the article asserts that campaign cash is the best way to judge grassroots support, and thus vote totals.

Does Drudge assume his readers to be drooling idiots?

Drudge has compromised his soul so deeply, he's wistful for the time when he was just evil.

Maybe he has sources which let him factor in the voting machine fraud factor.

Why blame Drudge. If you don't like the article, blame Barrons. I have never understood the hatred for Drudge. He rarely does actual reporting, he simply links to other stories, which are generally from the MSM.

Right now on his front page, he has links to stories by LA Times, Wash Post, MSNBC, and AP, among others. Can someone tell me why these stories are insulting to readers?

Hi Grey,

I doubt most people who read Barrons are drooling idiots. If you want to find drooling idiots look for listeners of Air America or Rush Limbaugh and vistors to moveon.org.

I can't take credit for that. Sometimes its best if people take credit for their own accomplishments.

People reach accurate conclusions using faulty assumptions and innacurate data everday. Polls might be the best example, the exit polls in the 2004 Presidential election showed Bush having no chance to win, so much for polls and pollsters.

In short the conclusion is correct, both houses will remain in control of the Republican party, at least you should pray they do or else President Bush will finally find his Veto pen and need an ink refill before his term ends.
