Default Ummm, yeah, so I forgot how to play poker.

MP is a good player
BB is a losing player, but plays somewhat well. If not for the rake, and his tilt, he might break even.

MP limps. I raise from the SB with black KK. BB calls.

Flop T95 2 hearts

I bet. BB raises. MP calls. I 3 bet, because I don't want a scare card to hit on the turn which takes away my CR from me. I want to jam, b/c I am OOP.

At this point, I am putting BB on a T, because he overdefends, and plays semi-passively after the flop, so a T is a good part of his range here. QJ is possible, as is a flushdraw with an overcard, but I feel like it's a T. W/E

BB calls my 3 bet. MP caps.
Now I am putting MP on a heart draw. It is also possible he has T9, but pretty damned unlikely he has a set, because he raises PF with TT, 99. He MIGHT have 55.

Turn is a cruel joke: the K of hearts giving me trips, and giving the world the hot end of a cooler. W/E. I bet!
BB folds. MP raises. Ummmmm, I don't know what happened in my brain at this point. I suspect aliens or Satan was involved, because I 3 bet. He just calls. Hooray?

River is a Q, so any J makes a straight. I bet. He raises. I turn my cards face up, and he seems unphased by my top set...

On the turn it looks like he doesn't 4-bet because he knows you have a set and is making sure the river doesn't fill you up.

I'm c/c the nasty turn, especially on your read, and making a crying call on the river UI. If the turn checks through then I would b/f on the river.

This is one of those 'I call, I win, he has AA' wacky 'I play bad he play worse' posts, isn't it.

I bet the turn 100% of the time... I'm sure you have a descent read but I'll donk bet just in case my read was a bit off and the capper is actually the one with T9 or 55.

If he just calls... C/C river is best I think...

I don't know what I do if he raises the turn (we obviously call) and bets the river. I probably call cause I like to spew AT LEAST 2 big bets per hour just to show that I'll "call-down" and you better not make dumb ass moves against me :-)

It seems you already know the turn 3-bet was bad given your 10 likely outs? Did you call the river and somehow end up winning real dollars while losing expected dollars throughout the hand?

It seems like we really need more info on MP. His PF and flop play don't seem very consistent with a "good player" - what hands would a good player be limping first in from MP when the table seems to be playing rather tight?

Either way, I can't see why you would bet the river unless you were prepared to fold to a raise - bet/calling the river seems really spewy. I really don't like check/calling either, but I think it's best if you aren't confident enough to bet/fold.

if you say so....

unless he's retarded, he has a flush and wanted to wait to see a favorable river before jamming it again.

ironically, the only person who seems to have not made an error (though it's impossible to know for sure) is the BB who supposedly sucks.

After I make a mistake at the table I imagine myself chucking 4, 6 or 8 chips over my shoulder into the casino. Just grab the appropriate number of chips, about 3 for the turn and 6 for the river, in this case about 9 chips which I take in my right hand and make a motion and imagine chucking them over my sholder into the casino. Doesn't feel good. Kinda like a punishment of sorts.

Replying blind...

For the love of all mankind, why on EARTH did you bet the river? The pot is huge, you should show down, and the board is nasty. This is not the time to bet/fold, so check and call. Save the bet/fold move for smaller pots.

The turn 3-bet is gross, as well, but that has already been discussed.
