Default A Memorable Sunday Million Tribute

I'd like to give a shout out and a huge thanks to Blueman. Without his generosity, vision, and willingness to take some risks, bottomset's improbable, entertaining deep run would have never happened. He provided many members of BBV & the 2p2 community in general with an opportunity that they might not otherwise would have had.

I think it's inspiring that someone is willing to give so much back to the community which we all benefit and rely on so much. Whether it's commentary on a yet another hand I managed to misplay, advice on a trip or bankroll management, or just pure entertainment, I know I can always find what I'm looking for on 2p2. I haven't been a member nearly as long as many of the people on here, my post count won't garner me any respect yet, and I certainly haven't improved as much as I would have liked to by now, but I do know with the help of the community I can continue to plug away and continue in the direction of where I want to go. There are other helpful communities out there, but moments like this just go to show me that I know I've chosen correctly.

Another thanks goes out to bottomset aka "middleset". You played patient, smart, aggressive poker from everything that I saw, and you showed Blue and the 2p2 community that when you reach 12k posts, you automatically are skilled at poker and run good. Kidding, but seriously, you showed how valuable membership of these forums are, as well as rewarding Blue's trust by making 2 deep runs in both of the major Sunday tournaments that he so kindly staked you in.

Last I'd like to say thanks to all the other supporters. I've never really railedbirded someone before, aside from watching some nosebleed stakes or pros play for a while. Having so many other like-minded people helping cheer bottom on made it much more fun. Every time he won a sizeable pot that went to showdown, you could count on a wall of text raining down like a monsoon in observer chat and at least 2-3 new pages in the megapost. Like so many others have reiterated, I genuinely cared about "middleset" winning each and every race. From all my fist pumping and grunting and hooping and hollaring, you would have assumed that I was a wife-beater-wearing guy named Luigi at a club in seaside heights (anybody who lives in NJ knows what I'm talking about; no offense to any italians, I have plenty of very italian friends). So again, for all the supporters/observers, from those who joined me from the beginning, to those who heard about it towards the end, awesome job and thanks for an entertaining evening.

"gg man, hell of a run"

cliff notes: thanks and great job to
-Blueman
-Bottom(middle)set
-BBV/2p2 community
