Suck it up and find some Nabokov, I recommend Invitation to a Beheading. Or maybe Despair. Can't go wrong with Ada, or Ardor. Basically, as long as Nabokov remains in print, life is eminently worth living.

instead of going to go eat turkey with my mom and her boyfriends family i chose to stay home and get better and even managed to play poker for an hour. $200 tastes a hell of a lot better than turkey ever could.
