nl400 - TP2ndK stacking off vs. calling station
I played like 50 hands with BTN, where he was like 55/20/1.
He was very passive postflop, huge calling station, calling potsized turn bets with GS or just 1 overcard, etc. Only problem was, this all refers to small and med. sized pots. I haven't seen him losing more than ~100$ in a pot so far. UTG is a weak 40/8/0.5 player. My image was solid, but I don't think villain cares anyway. Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (CO): $527 BTN: $418.30 SB: $721.30 BB: $512 UTG: $374 Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG calls $4, Hero raises to $18, BTN calls $18, 2 folds, UTG calls $14 Flop: ($60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) UTG bets $12, Hero raises to $64, BTN calls $64, UTG folds Plan was to fold flop, if UTG came over the top. Re: nl400 - TP2ndK stacking off vs. calling station
i like check calling the river....giving him a chance to bluff it off....and saving urself some dough if he has u beat and value bets less than ur shove...
edit...though i guess hell just shove bluff....but still...i like checking the riv. |

[/ QUOTE ] idea was, he was very passive and he's not getting away from a K on the river, while he might check it behind. |

Re: nl400 - TP2ndK stacking off vs. calling station
pushing river is better than c/c because i think we're missing value here more than we're gaining from picking off bluffs

Re: nl400 - TP2ndK stacking off vs. calling station
or if you have some fps going you could check the turn and if he bets you can shove for value or if he checks behind you can claim it was for pot control!
